For the past three years, we’ve been inviting you to participate in our “Tenth of The Tour” event, where we challenge you to ride every single day during the Tour. In preparation for our 3rd annual Tenth of The Tour, we invite all of you to come out this Friday, June 26th at 6:30 pm to watch Clean Spirit with us as we get closer to kicking off the Tenth of the Tour in July.
Cycling films, in general, are horrible. They lack depth, interesting characters, and a point. Recently, Terry asked Zac, “Have you seen Clean Spirt?” He had not. Terry mentioned a few details, and he was semi-convincing to Zac. After watching the film, Zac has instructed no fewer than 10 people to WATCH THIS FILM!
Clean Spirit focuses on a single ProTour team, Argos-Shimano, a team you likely know little about. The setting doesn’t take place during the Spring Classics, or a European cyclocross season. Rather, the focus is on the team’s journey during the 100th Tour de France.
What is most interesting and compelling to me is the gravity of team dynamics throughout three weeks of racing, and how morale can be uplifted and shattered so quickly, stage after stage.
